Does anybody know the number of people that have passed the CSWE exam?

As of today, there have been approximately 3,200 CSWE certifications issued by DS. Roughly 2/3 were issued to DS employees and VARs, while 1/3 were issued to regular end users.
Out of curiosity, Just how can one know if they were issued to VAR or SW employees?
I can pick out a few companies from the list like Hawk Ridge & CATI as being a VAR. But SW employees, I would think to look where their headquarters is located, which is in Mass, but there are not many listed.
I just asked a friend at DS. The info I shared was what he shared with me. He would not, however tell me how the 2/3 broke out between DS and the VARs.
Keep in mind that these are historical stats, and many CSWEs may have left companies or "traded sides" over the years. It's definitely not a current snapshot.
Thanks for sharing that Kameron Smith. That is interesting to know.
Only looking through the list of USA certified CSWE, I cant seem to imagine I had seen anything more than 500-600 ppl certified.
Mass. only has 5 people listed from solidworks corp. So, I don't think they list their employees as having been certified for specific reasons.
It doesn't help that there are so many different ways to list company -
There is another one up top listed as "Dassault Systemes - SOLIDWORKS"
(As Kameron Smith mentioned, it isn't necessarily current, I know that Jeremy Luchini is no longer with SOLIDWORKS.)
The Certification Center has changed, there used to be a "count" per state - it would show "total worldwide", and if you selected a state, it would show "total in state" - The list that is displayed is only the people that have their certification information "shared" - I believe that Nebraska only shows (6), but there are at least 12-15 CSWE's here.
