Hi Team,
I am having trouble being able to get my driven dimension into my external design table file.
Steps taken:
-added new driven dimension to part file eg Length@Sketch1
-added driven dimension to design table named Length@Sketch1
-updated design table (no dimension was added beneath the )
-rebuilt the part file
I have read elsewhere that people have managed to extract the driven dimensions from a file into excel via a design table. Would anyone be able to guide me through this.

I was reading through that, although, I am pretty sure he uses configurations in his design table, but I do not. Anyway I tried to follow what he does and couldnt seem to replicate what he does. So I'm a little stuck...
Hi Stefan, Sometimes when using a DT I add a configuration even if I don't need one. I then configure everything I want to add to the DT, in the equations dialog (fastest way I found). This makes SW add them to the DT for me. I then delete the configuration. Alternatives are to type them into the DT manually, or endure the ever frustrating experience of having the DT open and clicking on the dims you want.
