I'm setting up a fan in a room. My goal is to determine what % of the volume of the room has stagnant air during steady state operation of the fan.
The fan is modeled as a cylinder and I assumed an output and input CFM. I can show velocity flow lines within the room but instead want my output to be what % volume of the room has a flow over XX m/s.
Is there a better way to do this than to assume the room is one gas and the fan is another and set a low % concentration threshold of the "fan gas" and ask it to tell me what % of the room volume is above that threshold?
