I need to have a fillet weld bead pattern at the intersection of the tube to the plate. .125 weld 3 places, each at .75 long, and 120° out.
I know that this can be done on a straight fillet weld.
Is there a way to create a weld bead staggered or intermittent in this situation ?
Just do a little math. Calculate the circumference of the tube, subtract 3 times the weld length and divide by 3. This gives you the length of the gap between beads. Add that to the weld length to get the weld pitch.
