Trouble creating CUSTOM CAMERA VIEWS (missing menus) COMPOSER 2015

I have been using Composer (2015 SP0) for a few years without trouble and recently went to FILE>DEFAULT DOCUMENT PROPERTIES>VIEWPORTS to set a custom camera angle to be consistent with other drawings and the CUSTOM CAMERA VIEW fields are missing.

I recently transferred the licence from a PC running Windows 7 to one running Windows 10 Home. I tried repairing the install to no avail. Could Windows 10 be my problem?

On another issue, Composer is running s l o w. Could this also be related to the issue above?

PC is DELL XPS 15 9550 (16GB RAM 2.6GHz processor).

First to your Hardware: not the processor, not the ram, but the grafikcard would be interesting! This is the main factor for performance. Which one do you use?

May be there are some problems with your preferences in the registry.

Also it may be possible, that you Need Windows 10 professional.

For graphics (Under Device Manager > XPS > Display Adaptors) I see: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M. Drivers for both are up to date. You may be correct in that the problem does seem to be with the screen performance and not stability etc.

How would you suggest I check for registry errors or problems with preferences?

Intel 530 and Geforce GTX are no OPEN GL Cards. Very good for DirectX but not for CAD Data. Better use a Computer with Nvidia Quadro Card! If you want to look to ebay, loot for any Laptop or Desktop with an old Quadro FX 1600/1700/1800 or newer. Those Computers are very cheep today and works very much better with Composer!

Preferences:

One way may be to delete the Preferences within the Registry.

Open regedit.exe and search for Composer/Preferences

May be: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DassaultSystemes\Composer\Preferences

First save this in a external file and than delete the whole preferences. Starting the Composer new, this will be created with new standard entries.

I'll give the registry fix a go first and if I don't have any luck then I'll try another machine as you suggest. Perhaps a rookie error on my behalf with the XPS!

Quick update:

Unfortunately deleting the registry entry didn't resolve the issue, so I guess it's time to transfer the licence to a machine with an Open GL card and see if that helps.
