I can't open a Solidworks document by double clicking it from within the PDM vault. I can open our other file types (AutoCAD, Excel, Word etc.) but any Solidworks file doesn't work this way. I can use the File/Open menu inside Solidworks or drag a file into Solidworks.

I am currently using Solidworks 2016 SP 5.0 and running Windows 7.
