is there practice exams for segment 2-3 for CSWP anywhere
it is called work experience...you do a lot of work and learn how to fix problems and work around things that go wrong to finish projects on time. Till then I would hold off on the exams
well its a problem within solidworks.
I had some way back when....section 1 and 2 are about modeling and assembly....There The on line ver of the test ask you questions about the volume and area if I remember right....I took one of the last exams they gave at the var...and all the work experience I had really helped me fly threw the test
Well on section 1 i have modeled the part in question one and i did the mass and was right on the money. so i saved that part on question 2 they ask for you to change some dimensions and get the new mass and i'm not even close i have checked and rechecked and nothing.
did you have to add a material? change a material....shell.....
modify mm to inches?
my section one on the test was answering questions....
25, or 50...out of the 100 or so possible questions...
just modify 5 different dimensions then get mass.
I'm one that says if you don't have the practical experience (work) you shouldn't take the test because all that proves is you know how to push buttons.
The CSWP is meant to test knowledge of Solidworks not the amount of practical experience one has obtained.
Additionally, I know plenty of people with decades of practical experience and no ability to correctly push buttons, so it's difficult for me to believe one is a prerequisite for the other.
i know i'm trying to learn other things in solidwork so that i might be able to use it at a later date. i would like to get better at the program in a all round way.
Why are you so hasty to blame SolidWorks?
I would say the vast majority of jobs do not require knowledge of all Solidworks functions...
