SW 2017 SP3.0

Odd problem I have never heard of or had before.  When I open the program everything will be fine for a while but then at some point the zoom function starts acting weird.  What should be a simple zoom in or out will go to the extreme.  The program will act like I am spinning my mouse wheel as fast as I can causing me to either zoom out to the point where the part disappears or zoom in to a point where the entire screen is filled.  The only solution I have found is to reboot the program which only solves the problem for a short while.

Some times I can go for a couple of hours before the problem happens other times it is within minutes of starting the program.  It happens with drawings, parts and assemblies.  This is a relatively new mouse that works fine on all other programs.  I have not recently changed any mouse settings in this program or on my computer.
