I am having an issue when I draw a wire between multiple connection points in a line SWE will only connect the two end points and ignore all of the intermediate points.
The only way I can get the points to connect is if I purposely draw separate segments out of line.
Here is a screen shot of what I'm experiencing.
In the terminal strip on the left is the terminals are not connected to the circuit. There is one line segment from the far right to the far left leaving everything in the middle disconnected. The terminals on the right are all connected to the circuit.
I would like to only draw one line to connect all the segments.
In fully wired context it makes the drawings extremely busy as this is a two level terminal block.

I'd expect the left to be split into segments as you said. What happens if you click on each of the connection points in sequence; is this tidier?
What symbol are you using? If it's custom could you share it?
Clicking in sequence it will extend the same single line segment to the next point. It seems to do this with any device that is using the #P_EQUIP_TAG_n attribute.
I have no idea how to share a symbol into the KB.

Do you have a picture of the setup that you're trying to draw a wire across? Perhaps one of where you're starting from then another of what you're wanting to achieve?
