Any idea when they plan to fix the Bill of Material split function?

When you have a Bill of Material (parts list) that has to be split to a second sheet, regardless if I choose split above this row or split below this row, it only works until you have to add or remove an item from the BOM. Every single time, if a new item is added, it will get the next part number and show up on the top of the second sheet of the BOM, but it always pushes items over to the front sheet making the BOM have too many rows on that sheet. Likewise, if I remove an item, even if it is one of the ones from the second sheet, it always pulls from the first sheet back to the second sheet so the first sheet now has less rows that we want. So every time, we have to merge the BOM back to one, split it again, and move one portion back to the other sheet.  Is there any way to fix this?

You can add the complete BOM table to both sheets and split them at the same line but only have the upper half pulled into drawing border on sheet 1 and the lower half in the drawing border of sheet 2.  Added items will always show up at the bottom of the table (which can be moved about) but removing items will change the table order without messing up the number of table lines on sheet 1.  Not a particularly elegant solution but since the data is same (assuming you don't do manual editing after insertion), it should provide some of the consistency that you're looking for.
