How do I replace of the M with a diameter symbol on my callouts? It just started doing this.....
Are you talking about making a GD&T symbol?
can you post an image as I guess as what Steve' showing in his reply
Check this Fixing Diameter Symbol Displaying As MOD-DIAM instead of ø in SOLIDWORKS
This is what I'm talking about:
Use Alt + 0216 or symbol from dimension FM
How did you created that hole? Is that a threaded hole?
Is that supposed to be a thread callout for an M10 screw? Or is it just a 10.92 thru hole?
I'm thinking it's just that someone just hit the M key. You should be able to either edit the hole callout in the model or get rid of the M in the drawing dimension.
It's an "M" because your hole is a METRIC size.. thus the diameter symbol is not used..

This one is metric....no M. The M is a bug.
I tried all the drafting standards on my computer and I can't get it to be an M no matter what.
Newell Voss you will get an M when you have a threaded metric hole, but not a non-threaded metric hole.
well you know what they say about assumptions..
I'm an idiot.
No your not.....its all good.
