Toolbox is loaded on a local drive.solidworks 2017 student versions
What happens when you click on that pile of fasteners?
It does not work and I did not install the toolbox
In add-in, there is no toolbox
Go to Windows Control Panel Add/Remove Program.
Right click on SolidWorks and select Change.
The Installation Manager will appear.
This is what I see with SEK version...
This could be normal if you have a certain flavour of student version (one supplied by the University/College) as it will be SolidWorks Standard where Toolbox is not available.
Go to Tools > Add ins and see if it states SolidWorks Standard at the top.
The version I'm using is SolidWorks Standard Can you tell me how to install the toolbox?
You cannot. It is not available in SolidWorks Standard, only SolidWorks professional and Premium.
Well, that's it. But when installed it is still in the program
it is fairly common in large-ish deployments to install everything, and then let the License manager control what options are available to be used. this makes managing the software easier for IT - especially if they have a mixture of licenses.
Do you get anything when clicking item 2 in that list? Item 1 is relevant as Hole Wizard is available to everything, but Item 2 should show no results.
