I have to model this mouse for a school transition year project. I was wondering if you have any tips or techniques to make this exact mouse?
Solid works file:
Hi Cillian, how much previous experience have you had with solidworks?
Aslo, how much time do you have / how much time do you want to spend on it?
I would start with the practice test for the CSWPA-Surfacing exam - CSWP - Advanced Surfacing Exam SOLIDWORKS
Same Place as this one ???
TELEPHONE SUPPORT FOR CAR ! NEED HELP
Asking for tips / techniques is not the same as asking to have it done. This might be a legitimate budding SW star!

Ya never know but you may want to bookmark the topic and keep track of Cillian Bahilly - and see how far we go
Those SW Stars, normally try more then paste a picture of an old mouse, some even use YouTube as their instructor, which is more then just pasting a picture and some have awesome instructors like J. Mather and others that come on here...
Get out your cell phone.
Take picture from top, front and side.
Start new part file.
Start 3 new sketches on Top, Front, Side planes.
Place images on appropriate sketches and scale using a known reference dimension (do you have access to calipers)?
Start sketching and featuring. Attach file here for advice after each sketch.
(Tip: Do not sketch on your image sketches - create new sketches.)
But this would be an advanced assignment. If you have to ask how to start, you are not ready for an assignment of this complexity.
Can you ask your instructor to join this discussion.
Hello Cillian, and welcome to the forum. Please see #32 at FAQ - Part 2.
Ive started making the bottom half of the mouse but im having trouble with the bottom of it and there seems to be a slight error on the side profile. Here's what i have so far, its just a rough sketch at the moment. I will be using dimensions etc in the next draft. I have inserted the solidworks file in the thread. Thanks to all for the advice

I do not see the *.sldprt file attached here.
Do you see it?
Does anyone see the attachment?
Think it's attached to the original post.
Oops, I didn't see that.
