i want to route multiple wires to show a harness. how to create splice in schematics? please help.
Check out the discussion here. There may already be a splice symbol in your library that you can apply and then copy/modify to meet your needs.

what I did was, created a mfg. part, created a symbol and assigned as many cpoints as the number of wires to be spliced to. and two terminals for In/Out . It did a fantastic route in 3D harness.. thanks for the other tricks anyways...
You nailed it, that's the basic approach in the other post as well. Nice work! So did you flatten your route? That's where things can get...interesting.
I found an SPR for the Harness flatten with Splice.
And that SPR for using Harness Flatten with a splice is 901772, if anybody is interested.
What is an SPR?
SPR stands for Software Performance Report. They get issued to track and solve unintended behavior and/or features not working, or not working correctly.
We have found that splices from 2D to 3D are very cumbersome, we are still using the original SW Routing to model harnesses.
