Can anyone please tell me if there is a Unicode number for the symbol (<MOD-BOX>) which precedes a dimension for a square hole or section? (see attachment)
I am trying to use this symbol in an Excel document alongside a number in Arial font, but can't find the symbol anywhere in the Arial character map - there exists a small square only, can't find one of full character height.
Thanks,
Janek
Thank you all for your time and replies.
The small square, Unicode 25A1, seems the best bet as you don't have to mix fonts in the cell. But you have to enlarge it independently of the number it precedes if you want it to match height.
Dennis, to type a Unicode character in Excel, you hold down Alt and type +XXXX then release the Alt key (where XXXX is the Unicode code).
Cheers!
