How to vary the offset between dimension text and dimension line in solidworks 2015?
Did you check here
Thanks for the suggestion.
I checked in dimensions under document properties, but still couldn't find the one i am looking for.
To give more clarity on the question,
I need to change the spacing / gap between the dimension value and dimension line. (highlighted in yellow in the below image.)
Thanks and regards
I am assuming that is a set value that can't be changed - maybe Jim Wilkinson could verify that..?
I do believe it is a set value, perhaps by standards, but Matthew Lorono would know best.
Thanks Jim Wilkinson
The only way (I'm pretty sure) would be to do it manually. Click in the text box just after the value, hit Enter on your keyboard, and then hit your spacebar a time or two. This could be saved as a Style to apply it to new, or existing, dimensions.
The gap between the dimension text and the dimension line is not editable.
