You can submit future requests as an enhancement request via your VAR or customer profile on SOLIDWORKS site.
The site should open in a month or so for users to submit enhancements for voting for the SolidWorks World Top Ten list. Here is a link to the blog post when it opened last year. Please keep in mind that this was for last year, and the links won't work any more.
Just to add to what Gene and the others said, there is a formal Enhancement Request (ER) system as Kelvin and Deepak point out. The idea is to go there and first search for your idea. If it exists in a form pretty much like your idea then just add your vote to the existing. if it doesn't exist then create it. The Top Ten List is annual section of the forum that is a de facto ER system. It is fantastic for the reasons that it is very active with a lot of discussion on the ideas to more fully refine and define them. It has a fatal flaw, at least as far as I'm concerned, in that it has a finite life. The list usually opens in October and disappears completely just before SWX World.
"For best results", as they say, you should post your idea in both locations. At least in the ER system it gets a formal number and can be searched by others. Unfortunately, the ER system is extremely cumbersome compared to this forum so that dissuades people from using it, me included.
