I have just installed Solidworks 2017-2018 and I find that I am unable to use the default appearances as I used to. When I expand the appearances tab, all I get is this:

Which makes for a rather dull variety.

All the default appearances seem to be there in the folder:

C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS\data\graphics\Materials

I have tried using the "Add file location" to this path, but nothing happens?
