While it is hard to tell exactly whats going on but why do you have restraints in the area and not much further away?
Like Bill McEachern already mentioned, you seem to have a fixture applied within the region that you are interested in analyzing. The placement of the fixture is such that it negates forces transmitted through the tie rod into your structure (or vice versa). You would likely want to remove the fixture now applied to your ball joint and replace it with contacts that define how the bodies interact/connect. In this way forces applied through the tie rod are transmitted into the structure and are not grounding out on a fixture. Looking at the bodies involved it looks like you want Bonded contacts everywhere in the model except between the inner ball and the outer ball joint where you will want No Penetration contact.
