Bolt Connector Creation Issue in Static Simulation

I am simulating the loads on enclosures for a pressure vessel, and am converting the bolts to connectors in the study. I am using countersunk bolts and selecting the countersunk face of the bolt and the threaded face of the enclosure as the two inputs in the connector initialization. Everything appears normal, but when I create the connector, it appears as an extremely long bolt at a strange angle. When I try to create multiple connectors, they all converge on the same distant point.

Any help would be appreciated.
