hmm,.. you want to get in a "Blizzard MDX3 Model File"?
..from what I could find.. it is based off Collada (*.dae)?.. so, it should be easy to get... but I could only find a few links?..
..from this link... https://fileinfo.com/extension/m3
so,.. if you know someone who has 3dsMax.. there is a plugin which reads m3.. they need to export to stl, wrl, obj, dxf, ply.
..and, a guy named Serhii Serhiiv did some work on a viewer/convertor (obj)
https://code.google.com/archive/p/oneclick-code/
..btw, when I tried using oneclick-code,.. it gave a error about dds not present? (texture files were missing?).. and I get it to export a obj but.. it's a bunch of facets?
..btw2,.. ..after reading the header...curious, was this a *.max file which was saved as a *.m3?
..and/also,.. his obj export seems to work, I imported the armory example,...
.. you might try some 3D capture programs when playing your game?
- 3D Ripper DX
- GLIntercept
- Ninja Ripper
- 3Dvia printscreen
ok,.. please share how you can convert the m3 to a stl..?
..and, if you can, that is great!.. you can now open the stl into SolidWorks!
..otherwise.. the only other option I did find was using Blender..

Its a mesh format. M3 File Extension - What is an .m3 file and how do I open it?
You would have to convert it to an STL or WRL (or other mesh supported by SolidWorks, there are not many). To use it for modeling, it would have to contain approx 15,000 tris or less for Solid Body import, or slightly more for a Surface Body.
If you have Scan to 3D in your license, you might have some additional options for working with a mesh.
