    BOM with non-consecutive item numbers.

I'm in the process of rebuilding a drawing and bill of material for an assembly that has had quite a few revisions before this point, meaning the bill is all over the place as far as item numbers. An example is the item numbers jumping from 118 to 313. There are lots of gaps, and having dummy parts to take up those spots isn't an option since there are so many. I'd rather not overwrite all the item numbers in the table if there's a better way of getting this done.

What's the best way to construct a new bill of material on the drawing to show these massive number jumps?

      Thanks.
