i think you use views to create the animation?!
In those views the Information perspective or isometric is integrated as an property of the camera. Never change the camera view from perspective to isometric. This dosn't work.
Delete the camera keys in the timeline and set new camera keys manually. If you wnat to use isometric, create the first view as isometric and place this on 0 sec. Then set all other camera keys.

Yes I hoping to just have a short part of the animation with Perspective off. It makes it easier to see what is happening. I know you are supposed to be consistent within an animation and keep it on or off but in this instance toggling between the two made the animation easier to understand.
The only way I have found to get a decent looking switch between the two is to first set a camera view that is zoomed out, switch, then zoom back in.
