Working on the tutorial "Routing Pipes and Tubes", I cannot place the ball valve on the piping: it constantly falls outside of the route.
What am I doing wrong?
I attached files that maybe helpful.
Routing can be very tricky, do you know are the route and connection points set up in the ball valve you are trying to use?
One thing to try is right click on the point and select add fitting:
You can try adding the valve that way.
Thank you Peter for your reply,
The route has a point established where connection has to be made, but the ball valve is an assembly with two flanges and it is a block from tutorial that I have to use. It should have connection points, but they somehow do not attach the valve to the setup route point.
Also, I tried to use "Add Fitting" commend you suggested, but when I do, the window message appears: "An in-line fitting must have one route point and at least one connection point". Looks like the command does not recognize the points.
So, still struggling...
From what it sounds like the valve doesn't have the connection points, here is some more information regarding connection points.

Thank you, Peter
This time it works. The valve snapped into place.
Probably, I did not put the valve to the exact connection point on the route.
Yes, you are correct, this can be tricky.
