Hi there, in Adobe Illustrator you can get a shape and blend it from one shape to another of a different size and select the instances/steps from that shape to the other.

For instance I could make a hexagon at one large size and create a small one in the middle of it and create a 3 step between the two sizes and it will create 3 instances from one size to the other in the appropriate scale.

I am wondering if there is a way to do this in SW with the linear pattern to reduce the scale of the shape you want to linear pattern at a specified distance. Its kind of handy for drawing and creating a custom grid.
