I've created drawing formats/EO forms for use in Solidworks. When I tried to export them to dwg format, our ACAD Guru says that they don't go into paper space. Is there a way to export Solidworks drawings so they work correctly?
See the File > Save As > Options. Not sure when this was added to SolidWorks. Looks like this option was added in SW2012.

We are also having a problem with Save As .dwg
and paper space?
We must open the .dwg in Adobe Illustrator
and everything needs to be letter size portrait
and not scaled to fit page because we don't want
any scaling, we need it to fit the page as we created it in SW 2015
with about .25 spacing around inside edge of sheet,
so that title block is always in the exact same position
on every sheet.
We selected the check box for
"Export all drawing sheets to paper space",
but that setting doesn't appear to be letter size portrait
when opened in Adobe Illustrator? . . .
It appears to be 11x17 landscape.
We don't see where/how to change any paper space setting
for Save As .dwg that help us?
When opened in Adobe Illustrator the file
scales to fit into the letter size and so the title block
and everything gets positioned directly close to the edge
of the page and that will vary depending on the scaling.
