Is there an effective way to track why a drawing, model, or assembly file has changed within solidworks? I am responsible for locating drawings for purchasing, maintenance and anybody else who needs them, in addition to making the changes. We will put some general information in the revision block to say "7.000" was 6.566" or something like that, but often times changes are a bit more complex and I am always asked "why did we change it"? Is there some way to attach emails, jpegs, notes, etc. to a solidworks file? We plan on migrating to EPDM & perhaps that will provide some of those capabilities (not sure), but if there is something out there that can be used now.
