Hi folks.
Whilst rearranging my interface, I seem to have moved things to positions I can't alter anymore.
I've somehow moved a toolbar off screen and can't get to the handle to move it, also my main menu bar has disappeared.
See photo.

Hi Andrew, as this is DraftSight the data that controls the user interface is in this folder C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\DraftSight (note AppData is a hidden folder). In this folder will be a version number. I have just renamed the version number folder (with DraftSight closed) by adding the word "_OLD" to the end. When DraftSight is next opened it resets to factory layout. So you can then begin rebuilding your customisations.
I am not sure what other repercussions this has, so maybe you need to go an extra folder level deep (underneath the version folder) and see if the toolbars are fixed renaming the "UI" or "Workspace" folders instead
Hi chaps.
So nothing resolved it, so I uninstalled it, reinstalled, and Bugger me if it didn't come back exactly the same.
So uninstalled again, but this time I ran Ccleaner, cleaned all the junk, cleaned the register as well, and deleted the files in the roaming folders and installed again. Got a clean version now, so have to start sorting my preferences all over again now. .
Never mind, something to do I suppose, good job I'm on holiday, It's pissed it down every day of it so far. Good old 'reliable' British weather.
Thanks for your help chaps.
Have you tried restarting your computer?
Do you have a copy of your settings saved? You could load them and try again.
You can also reset your registry to go back to factory settings: http://www.javelin-tech.com/blog/2011/09/resetting-solidworks-windows-registry/
