The workshop here wants to be able to make pen plots/ vinyl plots of the parts I design in solidworks.

Problem is that the plotters are running on adobe illustrator, and creating dxf's of solidworks parts, then opening dxf's in AI is painful because AI does not import dxf's well. (sometimes arcs are backwards, lot of issues....)

Iv'e tried saving pdf's of drawings, but the line quality is poor.

I'd love to be able to plot from dxf.  Anyone had any experience with that?
