All my dimensions and annotations look normal when I do a drawing but after it is checked into the vault and I view it as a .pdf all the dimensions and notes are shown as Bold. I have always used Century font with no issues. I did just recently upgrade to 2017. I have checked my drawing templates to make sure the font is correct and it is. Does anyone know what is going on?
Not the same issue but may be related.
I just contacted our VAR for a issue where the PDF does not match the solid works print or screen scale. In my case, all the lines were widened to .010" around the drawing and this was artwork with a logo and it closed up all the gaps in the logo. Seems to do it saving as AI and PSD files also. You could select this "wide" outline in the AI file so something is up.
Still open issue sent to SW from the VAR. I even saw this in with a later version DXF export where the lines were polylines and .010 wide. (Using 2017SP3)
If you have a full version of Adobe acrobat, you may be able to print to the Adobe print to PDF output as a workaround. (not confirmed) The VAR was going to have me change the line weights on the drawing settings (not a valid solution) and I said "no thank you"......
