Hello everyone, new to the forum, long time user of solidworks. I have a question for you all. On the rig that we are using, we have a Asus GTX 1080ti STRIX graphics card, and an i7 7740X, and it seems to have been a great performer in all of our benchmarks for other programs, except for solidworks visualize. What we found is when trying to perform a render, the CPU usage shoots up to 100% usage, which is great, but the GPU remains at idle. This was on the HYBRID render option. When I switched to GPU only rendering, I get an error along the lines of "background render failure" and I am not able to start a render with my GPU. I know this is a pascal based card, does that have anything to do with it?
