I am using 3D sketch and indeed need to see the coordinate system in part/assembly file in the bottom left corner. How can I turn this on? My Model space show below when I change view.

I think that you are in the wrong program.....model space is an autodesk feature and not in solidworks.....
Now u are doing a 3d sketch in a part assembly or context of the assembly...99% of the time you the tab key will be your friend as you hit the tab key it will kind of pick up and the pane you are on and if you don't like it hit it again and it will change.
this should keep your sketches on the directions that you want them.
if the x y z little arrows are not showing up in your while your are editing the sketch look at the to of the screen where the little eye glasses are and there you can set the visibility of many options
I had to work threw the question....why you wanted it to show up? somethings are just there and I don't care if they are or not .....I just worry about what direction the line is going and if it does not look right when I'm done....fix it or start over....
glad that I could help
