How do I make holes in the body part that line up with all the holes in the hinge part?
There are several methods to achieve that;
1) Use the same dimensions to locate the holes.
2) Assemble the mating parts and use the Hole Series tool to create the holes in both parts.
3) Assemble the mating parts and use the sketch which locates the holes from one part to locate the holes in the other part.
is this what you want?

Adding to whatKelvin Lamport said what I often do is: while in the assembly select the part and make it active. Then you can create a sketch and while in the sketch select the edges of the hole/holes you want copied and select convert entities. Now use the hole feature and create your holes.
Another idea is to create an assembly cut so one cut is in all of the parts. You can select which parts the cut is in and you can propagate the feature to the parts.
