SW 2017 Confusing Feature Tree Stratification

I started using SW 2017 a couple of days ago and notice something I haven't seen in 2016. Please take a look at the attached visual aid.First, features don't have the children sketches absorbed in them. Usually you go to the feature in the tree and expand the feature to see what sketch it is using. Second, If it is a sketch used up above, the dynamic reference visualization arrows will point to that sketch, but as you can see from the image the dynamic visualization arrows are not pointing to the parent sketch. I have been having frustrating and confusing interface experience where it is taking me a lot longer to track down parent and children features.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to have the same order in the design feature tree as in 2016. Is there an option that I have to select?

Thank you,
