I have just installed SW2017 and connected to our PDM vault. I was told we have PDM Professional, but when I installed the client I think I remember it saying it was PDM Standard and don't think I had the option of installing PDM Professional. How do I check to see which version I have?
PDM standard is included with SW professional and SW Premium.
PDM pro is an extra purchase + maintenance.

I don't know what we paid for. Our IT tech says we have PDM Professional, but I am trying to verify that. Is there an easy check once it's installed?
If you have a network license you can look in the SolidNetwork License Manager and see if you have any SolidWorks PDM licenses listed. If you only have Standard I don't think it shows any.
Start --> All Programs --> SolidWorks 2017 --> SolidWorks Tools --> SolidNetwork License Manager Client
Yes, with Standard, it'll only show your SOLIDWORKS and 2D Editor seats.
