Hi. I was wondering if theres a way to bend "around" a feature of a sheet metal base flange. I want to bend only the outside legs and leave the circular part flat.
is this possible? If it is, how do I go about it? and is it even doable (I have never worked with the bending machines so I dont know if they're capable of that)
The bend goes through the curve and it "bends it", I want it to NOT BEND that,
the bend will have to be above the section you don't want affected.
Can you send me that part? did you do that with a sketched bend?

I created the standing flat section
I used edge flanges
created the flat inner part
Click on base flange to make the merged tab
I am somewhat confused about your explanation of the curved part staying flat. What you have drawn, to me, looks as if the curved section IS flat. If you could provide the part file of this part to us we can better help you.
