Anyone else come across this fun one? I typically ctrl+q and then hit save, keyboard shortcut or mouse buttons doesn't matter. Then travel the cursor to the part exit button in the upper right and hit it then have this pop up?

I know this is an issue that I have so I do look for the * after the file name and it is not there until I hit the exit button. This usually pops up when editing a part that is open in an assembly in another window but has been know to pop up without the assembly being open. The parts are usually configuration free too.

Just asking for a friend here.
