Where does Composer show the x, y, and z coordinates of any given actor?
Composer works relative not absolute.
To get the coordinates of geometry you have to use the API and you will get the center coordinates of the bounding box.
But i dont think that this helps.

Not exactly sure what you mean... but there is a copy location feature under the TRANSFORM tab in composer. This should allow you to apply an existing part location to another part.
