Wire Mesh for Filtration

Hi all,

I've scoured the internet and the forum but can't seem to find a good reference or tutorial for creating a fine woven wire mesh as in the type you would normally use for filtration. The woven mesh I need to create would be from 0.25mm SS wire.

From what I have learnt so far, obviously there is linear patterns involved, but I'm not sure of how many repedative sweeps I have to do initially or where the sweep ends should finish (high or low) on each end on my first wire. Or how many initial overlaps I require before the linear pattern is invoked.

If anyone knows of a great example that can be followed or a tutorial, please let me know.
