I'm hoping for a little help with an issue in sketching and using trim...

I've attached the file, SW16, hoping it may help to see what I've done and trying to do.

Basically, I created a bounding box outwit which I created a cross which is linear patterned through. I then want to cut using the box - so I tried power trim and outside line trim, making the bounding box solid opposed to construction and have tried a number of variations to get it to trim so I can have the pattern only within the box.

Any help much appreciated!
