      Sorry if my questions sound like I'm very much a newbie at PDM administration, but I am! I just installed SolidWorks 2017 and PDM on my computer. Our vault has been created, but has no data saved in it yet. I created a vault view, didn't like the location, so I deleted the folder it was in. Now I don't see the option of creating a vault view in the administration tool. Any suggestions?

          Go to the Start menu -> All programs -> SolidWorks PDM -> View Setup.

           

          If this fails then you have left over entries in the registry and will need to consult your VAR for how to fix this.

              Thanks. That wasn't working. I found the answer by Jason Spansel on another thread and it worked:

              "You need to go into the registry of the computer and delete the vault view from there. I get this all the time.

               

              Start menu.

              Run Regedit

              Rename or Delete: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases\(VAULT NAME)."
