How to give dimensions to this sketch?
There is a sketch for a loft at 539.75 mm, it is also not shown in the detail view.
This would be done using profile cut so I think you'd better use profile GDT as the shop will use it to trace the blade profile
Practically, how you inspect the dim showing on your dwg?
I do not know about these things but if can give information I can search YouTube for more information. You mean GD&T.
yes, it's GD&T
Not the same: DimEpert is the way you dimension your dwg while GD&T is a feature you can use to add Geometric tolerance
Search for GD&T - there are some good discussion about this topic on this forum
GD&C means Geometric Dimension & Tolerance, here I am not concern with any Tolerance only dimension. I think most suitable one is DimXpert. What do you think?
You can give x,y coordinates with 0,0 being at the hole in the center. Just make them close together. I see that kind of thing all the time on some of the air foils for the jet engine front frames we get from the customer.
You could create a table of x,y coordinates and show points with labels if you wanted.
Here is an example (I can't share the notes/numbers, so here they are blocked):
But basically, this shape is made using the coordinates listed on the table.
Your idea seem heavy stuff which may be useful to me in the future. Simplified solution is useful to me at the moment.
