Wind turbine blade does not have defined point to dimension it. How to show Wind turbine blade dimension in a drawing?
I would imagine the best point to dimension from would be the center of end face of the cylinder for all views......which is where your origin for the part is.
This cross section is gradually varying through the part how show this in a drawing?
If you want to draw it & dimension it then you will have to show several section views in your drawing, at the appropriate deviation points, & dimension each one. I would use each of your loft sketches for starters as the section points as you have a known location & size already.
Another thing that we have done here is to show sections along the length of the blade, then create a point map of the surface and give X and Y coordinates along the section edge. Then do that in various sections along the length of the blade.
