I do not have AutoCad but try using free DraftSight tool to open/recover your file.
Thanks for answer. I shall try it
Configure page setup with the correct printer, paper size, and plot area, and then check layers to make sure they have not been set to not plot. Turn on the plot flag in the Layer Properties Manager for the layer that the missing objects are on.
- Enter the LAYER command at at the command line or select the Layer Properties button in the Layers ribbon panel.
- Toggle the Plot/No Plot status in the Plot column for each layer that should plot:
To make the layer changes from the command line:
- Enter the -LAYER command.
- Enter the Plot option.
- Select Plot or No plot.
- Specify the layer(s) to be affected.
lso take a look at this link to see if it may be related: http://www.dwg.repair/
You can hit F2 and read the command history of what all happened while the file was loading. The only time I've seen that message is when you don't have the same "modules" (same thing as Solid Works "Add-Ins") as the other user.
You'll likely get more help here Discussions-Page - Autodesk Community though. Good luck with it ...
