Small Weldment Profiles

The free downloadable weldment profiles you find at 3DContentCentral, start at a medium size both in the square and rectangular tube profiles. So, I tried to find smaller profiles...no luck. So I made a single sldlpf file that you can add to your profiles. Its a design table configured file with about 60+ profiles (sq & rect) see below.

 

It has purchasable sizes (I found on MetalDepot.com). The corner radii are 2X wall thickness (pretty standard).

 

I also added (4) extra points in the profile, that are dimensioned if you want to offset the profile easily.

I tested the file and it works good, the descriptions (above) appear in the weldment cut list fine. Since it has a design table in it, you can edit the descriptions to suite.

 

Let me know if you see anything wrong with it....

 

Lastly, to use this file and put it in the correct SW folder, you'll have to google that or look in these forums, its a little tricky.
