If Edit Table tool refuse to open the Design Table, What could be done? I tried by closing and opening the file but it didn't work.

Do you have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer? Yes
Is your version of Excel compatable with your version of SolidWorks? I was able to open design table therefore yes
Do you have Excel open with a cell in edit mode? Yes
Have you tried opening the design table in a separate window? Yes but no response
I use 2016-2017 student edition. I think this function is disabled in the student edition because in many YouTube videos I have seen it was opened in other than the student edition.
What happens if you close SolidWorks and Excel (if running) and then go back into SolidWorks and try again Maha?
Dave.

.... I think this function is disabled in the student edition ....
These are mutually exclusive statements.
How can you state, "I was able to open design table therefore yes"
and then state
I think this function is disabled in the student edition
Start Excel and post screen capture that shows Excel running on your machine.
To start Excel go to the Windows icon in lower left corner of screen and type Excel.
To grab a screen capture
go to the Windows icon in lower left corner of screen and type Snipping.
From there you should be able to figure out how at "snip" an image of your Excel screen and then attach the image here.
If you still can't figure it out - post back and I will create a video.

If you download this simplified model that you attached, does it not work with this model?
(The model works for me - but it isn't instantaneous, you have to wait a couple of seconds and accept the options).
Just to clarify - the image like this that you attached before is from your machine and not from a tutorial - correct?
How did you start your Design Table?
Did you go insert design table auto??
Anytime you want to make a design table...
Create SW Part
Open Excel
Split the screen so you can see both the part and the spreadsheet
Edit all sketches that the Design Table will drive the part
Copy the sketch Name right from the Dimension Dialog box, that way there are no typing errors (this information must match perfectly)
Paste in the appropriate place in the Excel File
After you completed that then save the Excel File in the part file folder
Close the Excel file
Save & Close the SW file - re-open SW file
Go to Insert/Design Table/From File and load the just saved Excel File
Always make sure that when you edit the design table after that you do a save as and make sure it's in the correct folder..
