When the appearance tab is selected on the task pane you used to be able to edit the color and material appearance with the multitude of colors and materials that could be selected in drop down "trees".  Somehow these options have disappeared and now there is only 1 color and 1 texture that can be selected from the appearance tab. I want to be able to change my material to "translucent plastic".

Any ideas on how I can return the tab back to the default configuration so I can easily assign a translucent plastic "color" to my material so I can easily see through it for flow simulations?
