When I render out an alpha image (at 1920x1080 .png) a ghost black background is added when uploading to product page. Did I accidentally click a button I shouldn't of? I tried uploading to product page on a couple different computers. I also uploaded to facebook for a post and had the same results.
Will try TIFF. Also we noticed that if a PNG is rendered off at 350 width it works fine but anything over 1080 gives same resulting black background.
I suspect that since the backplate is not recognized by the alpha channel, the output to .PNG is some form of "transparent" that HTML 5.0 has decided to call "00000". Maybe I have that backwards. But then, I could be smoking something.
On the other hand, I have had unexpected problems when loading my alpha channel with a texture.

I know you are probably already using this exact workflow, but worth a shot starting from here.
Let me know if this is the workflow you're using. If yes, then something might be awry:
Same workflow, however I was using a white BG. I will try using black background.

does it give you the same result if you render to TIFF?
