How can I show diameter 92 using smart dimension? When I sketch this circle, Smart dimension keeps giving me radius. (I assume it is not a full circle because I trim some area). Thanks
Or go to leaders and select diameter.
You should be able to right click the dim and make a change to either radius or diameter.
There is no default setting to be able to control a radius with a diameter. Think about that statement.
Right click does not work. I don't see option to make the change.
Is that dimension from the model?
Yes. Now I will be able to show diameter instead of radius. I learnt something new today. Thank you
If it was imported from the model, might be why you couldn't right click and display radius.
Mark Samir's answer correct if that works for you, Thanks!
That is the data sheet. I have to sketch exactly as shown. But could not get the diameter dimension to show 92. Now I got it. Thank to Mark. Wonder why this was not covered in my SW class.
Mark the correct answer so we can move on.
............. are you really waiting Steven Calvert - lol
I've been sitting at my desk the whole weekend waiting.
Can I go home now?
If you're not careful you'll end up being a permanent secretary....
My dream job... shhhh
Yep, I need closure (and beer points)
Just did. Thank you
Thank you! That works!
Also keep in mind the "Display as Diameter" is different when the dimension is right-clicked with the Smart Dimension tool active and inactive.
When Smart Dimension is active and you right-click a dimension you will see "Display as Diameter" in the pop up menu.
If you do NOT have Smart Dimension active and right-click a dimension you will see a menu option called "Display Options", Display as Diameter is in the sub-menu.
