Hi All,

I am trying to model my CK glasses. I am having trouble creating the front frame when I use sketch on sketch projection. I have a few questions:

- How do you know which two views/sketches to use to project a 3D curve?
- Why is my FS (FrontSide) curve looping after the half way point?
- Why is my ST (SideTop) curve not going all the way down?
- Can we project closed loop sketches on one another?
- Is there a better way to model the frame (tried 3D sketching)?

Thanks a lot in advance for your time!

If you create the surfaces and use the Intersection Curves tool you will get four individual curves (3D sketch curves). Sketch on sketch creates a curve (Curve not sketch) witch must be continuous. I guess it is random that it takes the two it does or perhaps it has something to do with system tolerances. That is why a talked about better two good curves. When there are ambiguity it is better that YOU decide what the system does, and you can do that by dividing each of the sketches in two (front sketch-inner; front sketch-outer; Side sketch-front; Side sketch-Back) and create two curves. You should then split them where the tangent is horizontal.
